i couldn’t pass up a chance to use a tchaikovsky trending audio, & renee’s gorgeous decemeber ceremony could not have fit the bill more perfectly (the church was actually built during the same era the ballet was composed!) 🎼🎻🕊️🎄🕯️🩰✨🤍

when the entire aesthetic of a wedding is sultry romance & each frame feels warm to the touch 🕯️🥀
b & d had their intimate brunch ceremony tucked away in a private room at @gemma.nyc where they exchanged vows surrounded by their closest friend & family.
brittany chose a soft down style for the ceremony to compliment the romantic nature of her veil. i love how seamlessly everything tied together - from the lace detail of the veil, the corset silhouette with silk draping of her dress, to the cozy candlelit room - and my absolute favorite detail - the wax drippings melting down the candelabras.
after the ceremony, we removed brittany’s veil & transformed her style into to an effortless & undone, yet chic, midi updo to send her off for an evening of dancing & drinks at the georgia room 🥂

isabelle 🪽our beautiful curly girl. one of my favorite techniques is defining & styling a natural curl pattern.
Isabelle’s vision was distinct from the moment she reached out to me. wearing a gown, made by her mother, with a corset bodice & basque waist, she wanted her hair to feel effortless & ethereal while still bringing a touch of that victorian era vibe.
she knew she wanted to showcase her curls because feeling like herself was important - so all we used was a .25in iron & a hydrating but lightweight styling cream to bring her natural texture to life. (swipe for before!)
