Cantina Contramar has just opened at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas, a collaboration between celebrated chef Gabriela Cámara and visionary architect Frida Escobedo.
Stop by for a Casa Dragones margarita or paloma, and enjoy the restaurant’s iconic red-and-green ‘Pescado al la Talla Contramar’, its legendary tuna tostadas and its warm Mexican hospitality.

The highly anticipated restaurant officially opens on Saturday, and this powerhouse trio is in town to celebrate the space, their partnership, and the team that brought the project to life.
The original @contramarmx , opened by Gabriela in Mexico City 27 years ago, is one of the country’s most revered and popular restaurants. Cantina Contramar will feature several Contramar classics on the menu, including red and green Pescado a la Talla and the iconic Atún Tostadas with fried leeks and avocado.
Cantina Contramar was designed by Frida, the award-winning architect who is also working on a new wing of The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and the renovation of Centre Pompidou in Paris.
Bertha is the first female maestra tequilera and co-founder of Tequila @casadragones , which has long been featured on the menus of Gabriela’s restaurants.
