Happy Anniversary to Cristina and Beyond Pastry Studio! 🎉🎉🥳🥳🥳 BPS is celebrating their anniversary this month on Aug 29th. They opened on Aug 28, 2021.
This artwork is called ʻOhana and is a gift to my dear friend Cristina. It was drawn by the very talented Candice Soon. Thank you @candicedoodles for making my concept a reality! It came out perfect.
ʻOhana (Cristina calls it the Zesties) is printed on canvas and commemorates all the friends, family, and staff who have shaped Beyond Pastry Studio into what it is today and will continue to do so in the future. On the Cristina’s right is her wife Alicia and the OG’s, in the center is Cristina’s hyperactive girl squad, and on the left are recent friends and staff as the BPS continues to grow. BPS's most popular items are displayed on the table. There are many easter eggs and references in the art. This was a very fun project to work on the last several months. The artwork is also accompanied by a booklet containing messages from Cristina’s family and friends. Thank you everyone who participated. This gift would not be complete without you.
Cristina, the last few years have been a wild ride. I’ve seen BPS grow from a pop up into a studio and then becoming a fully established business in Downtown Honolulu where many come to enjoy your pastries. You have made a mark on Downtown with everything that you do. You have achieved so much and the BPS family and community are all proud of you. Congratulations on your anniversary and we can’t wait to see what the future holds. Here’s to many more!

Their line up last Friday were Pandan Carrot, Hojicha German Chocolate, and Yuzu Lilikoi Olive Oil cakes. I got the yuzu lilikoi one. Super good! Strong yuzu and lilikoi flavor and the cake wasn't super sweet which I liked. Will be back to try more!
