THE RITES OF MAN (2025)
Time-traveling anthropologists document the heartbreak of an aspiring entrepreneur in Los Angeles.
In ir/reverent homage to mid-20th century documentary films, this fictional documentary turns a comically “objective” lens on the shadows of trauma lurking behind American masculinity. And it does so with a level of craft and care that will delight and inspire audiences.
Filmed entirely on @kodak_shootfilm 16mm film. Premieres fall 2025.

Here’s a fun one I made with my friends at @authorscreativecompany and with @jpzy88 . In this intro for a Meta design education program I wanted to allude to the history of computer interfaces. It starts with an homage to early user interfaces like Engelbart’s “mother of all demos“, moves through early 3D design, and then culminates on a mixed reality scene. We used After Effects, Blender and Figma for the UI design. Also had fun with the sound design. #motiondesign #aftereffects #blender #blender3d
