Christmas came early in 2026! For the past year I’ve been working with @formcapture to complete the final form of the sculpture Ett frö gror i en människosjäl (A seed grows in a human soul), one of the two sculptures that make up the Emigrant monument for @masthuggskajengbg , Gothenburg harbour. It’s quite incredible to finally see it to scale in sand from @voxeljet , here at @strassacker art foundry. I spent last week at the foundry carving out the texture of the fur collar. I’m loving the material and process discovery in the making of this piece. We’ve got some more work to do but soon this will be cast in bronze. Big big thanks to @peter_s_m and everyone at the foundry, Fred Hair, Dovydas Pocius and @kouga_gennouske for all your work on this thus far.

We captured every intricate detail of the shoes using our 3D capture technology.
From the stitching, to the texture of the fabric, every aspect of the shoes were faithfully recreated, providing a truly immersive rendering.

We 3D scanned @ymclondon new collection of vulcanised sneakers.
Made using durable cotton canvas and vulcanised rubber, their new take on the classic cotton canvas sneaker comes in three styles and four different colour ways.

For the fourth episode, ‘Clue Fest’, we went on site to 3D scan presenter Joel Dommett’s
head, to include him in the animations.
His head was rigged onto a body wearing one of his characteristically flamboyant suits, and
the avatar addressed a Glastonbury-esque crowd of Masked Singer contestants, announcing clues to their identities.
Using 3D scanning for the Masked Singer and Dancer has meant that the team were only
limited by their imagination.

For the first episode of series 4 of ‘The Masked Singer’, the first six contestants walked
through a glowing animated tunnel that moved in a way that an ordinary tunnel could not.
To only show a glimpse of each contestant, building up the audience's anticipation, the
virtual cameras were pointed at their feet or from behind, and a shallow depth of field was
used to knock them out of focus.
As it was the first show of the series, the viewers were keen to see all the new characters,
and this technique helped to build suspense.

For series 4 of TV show ‘The Masked Singer’ and series 2 of its sister show ‘The Masked Dancer’, the production company Bandicoot brought us into 3D scan all the contestants’ costumes. We created highly accurate high polygon textured models of the twelve masked dancers and twelve masked singers, which, working with talented animator Benn Wyldeck, were then made into fun and unique animations for each episode.
Bringing these characters to life, and working with such amazing costumes, meant that there were almost no limits to what could be produced.

We 3D scanned the amazing Kiimi @kiimiworld for their new song ‘Sun Goes Down’.
@dxr_zone created a digital metaverse planet, where you can interact with Kiimi and experience the deconstructed sounds in the twilight.
Listen to it now and keep an eye out for more sonic 3D artwork on their insta.
“I wanted to create a kind of ethereal space that felt free. So ‘Sun Goes Down’ was born.’
