it’s a driving acidy-techno stomper that i wrote during a period of frustration last year and i think you can hear that influence in the track - both the tension I was carrying and the euphoric release that came from finally getting it onto the page. feel like it’s my villain era soundtrack.

‘i want u’ marks the beginning of a new chapter for me. The track combines all my favourite elements of club music: percussive, bassy, somewhere in between bouncy house and techno, with a clear nod to the queer club culture that forever inspires me. I wanted it to be the sonic embodiment of a sweaty, dark basement. With some wobs.
For the DJ nerds, it’s 131bpm, it’s a great tool for bridging genres and sounds sick sped up as well. It’s been a staple in my DJ sets over the past year and i am gassed that I get to release it on my good friend @jaguarworldwide ‘s label too!! Working with friends is the best 💞 thanks for believing in me and supporting me from the beginning xx
