Was equal points and goal difference so when these two drew, penalties was the only decider - hence the tense game. Early penalty for Versus in open play sent them 1-0 up. Some insane solo play from Filthy followed by a strike that had no business going in but it sure did - 1-1. This game belonged to one man and one man only, @mseven_____ / Mr Mercurial. Was getting sh*thoused from the 4th minute after getting his shirt gripped up in the middle of the pitch. He then stands over the free-kick, and proceeds to blast it over to East Croydon train station, his head is GONE😭😭 A couple minutes later he goes for the get back with a UFC submission and receives a yellow card, at this point Admin is falling off my seat😂😭😂💀 As he’s recieving his yellow card, he gets a cheeky little pat, is he getting taunted by the Versus players now?😭 Half-time comes and NHS manager’s @nohayseens & @stonecoldmalzo must have gave him the Sir Alex treatment because boy, he came and played the second half💀 He goes on a cheeky run, beats a 1st, turns the 2nd, tries to spin the 3rd and his arch enemy is there to stop him - gives away a free-kick. This play changes the whole game. 2 passes from the free-kick and it falls to Mr Mercurial, man of the moment - in the middle of the box. Takes it past 2, shoots past the 3rd, putting it past @reganbarnes_ to win the game. Mr Mercurial? Call him the Murkle Man🎯 Had em clapping for the NHS. #FootForward

@filthy_fellas (0) vs (2) @sportsdirectfootball | Group Stage | Foot Forward Transition Trophy🏆 ON YOUTUBE NOW🎦 Match Report:📰 A faultless performance from the @sportsdirectfootball boys brought the Filthy Fellas lads to a halt after a rude brace from @mylesdominiquee ⚽️⚽️Going into this game, maybe Filthy were favourites with a seasoned group of players but a strong SD side saw the game out without breaking a sweat. @bigjohngk makes it look too easy but the Fellas did manage to get a couple shots on target after some confident tiki taka💯 First goal was a great bit of build up play down the left side featuring @a.tazi8 before it ended up at the feet of Myles, shooting through a crowd of at least 7 players to give SD the lead. The second came just before half time with a strong strike from @markymanna leading to the keeper fumbling the ball, falling to the feet of @mylesdominiquee (again), the poacher. No hesitation, back of the net. 2-0, final whistle. #FootForward

vs @straight3ent | Quarter-Final Highlights | Foot Forward Transition Trophy🏆 ON YOUTUBE NOW🎦 Match Report:📰 There’s already a rivalry between these two sides and managers as @morgan.mlj & @lanofilly3 faced off in the final of the EBay Trophy in July, Foot Forward ran out the winners last time so this was a perfect opportunity for S3 to run a get back. Game started with @itsmalimitch recieving a penalty in the early stages, slotting it away calmly. From there - the game seemed to be dead and buried for FFF. Sean Bird made it 2 with an incredible headed control, swivel, then finishing past the keeper with a half-volley. Straight 3 quickly struck back scoring 2 goals in quick succession. Bringing it to 3-2. If FFF score next, the game is surely done, S3 score next.. well.. the games wide open. @_aaronfinnigan goes on a nice solo run to make it 3-1. Against the odds, @haichp97 calmly passes S3’s 2nd into the net. Harry runs back dropping a little wave to his teammate, and catches the eye of @leonarnasalam10 in the process. This brought the undertaker out in Leon, who just missed his train back to Liverpool. As Denzel said, he was leaving here with something. Channeling his inner Fifa Street, he spinning rainbow flicks @dj_diego_lo but doesn’t stop there, he BURIES it in the back of the net. Ending the game 4-2 to the Foot Forward Federation. @bape_uk v @kroenltd | Group Stage | Foot Forward Transition Trophy🏆 ON YOUTUBE NOW!🎦 Match Report:📰 6-0 Thriller😬 2 of the best kits at the tournament went head to head and more than goals were exchanged😭 @roryfullaaa sent to the ER after 3 minutes played. Pushed him like he was trying to save him from a bullet🤣💀 A brace from @malachinapa led to an interesting discovery.. bro does not know how to shoot, he just dribbles around the goalkeeper (maximum aura). Early signs of fatigue from @samjamesways saw him give away a penalty early doors sending them 1-0 down with less than a few minutes played. Probably too many bevy’s last night. Hold-up play masterclass from @nilepowerranger reminded everyone where the Power in that nickname came from. A nice link up play from @smallz97_ & @lifeof_faiz brought the second, and Filthy booted us out of the competition with a penalty to make it 3. 🗣️: “What was a dream you had before you found the path you’re on now?” 👤: @nilepowerranger Former Newcastle & Premier League striker Nile Ranger’s story is well documented. Growing up in the tough area of Wood Green, North London. Nile spent his academy days across the river at Crystal Palace before being released - like many of us. Southampton then came calling and offered him his Pro Scholarship after trialling for 2 days - a rare occurrence. He ended up going professional at Newcastle United, making 26 appearances in the Premier League. Nile has been very honest about the struggles he faced with his mental health and how he ended up getting caught up in crime as a result, eventually landing himself a jail sentence. His story is one of the most important when it comes to highlighting the support that players need in times of difficulty. While his path took a different turn, his success today shows that sometimes a change in direction can lead to something even bigger.
