Here’s to #FOGFair2026 — where local and global art and design communities came together to engage in critical dialogue, artistic exchanges, and a shared passion for creative pursuits. We welcomed 60+ galleries from the Bay Area and around the world. FOG FOCUS had its most expansive presentation to date. Artists and makers offered unique design objects in the return of FOG MRKT. We hosted thought-provoking conversations about creativity, community, and future technologies in the FOG Theater. And families got to share the fair experience together through FOG Family Days. During @sf_artweek and @fogfair , we were honored to be featured in @artnet —highlighting Sesse Elangwe’s (@sesseelangwe ) 2025 canvas True Friends? at our booth during FOG Art + Design. Created during Sesse’s recent residency with us, the work reflects his deep engagement with the people and energy of San Francisco and exemplifies how emerging galleries are building a connected, sustainable art ecosystem in the Bay Area. The painting sold quickly to a local collector, alongside several other standout works. Our founding director, Jonathan Carver Moore shared with Artnet, “During San Francisco’s Art Week, you truly see how deeply intentional its collectors are and how supportive they are of our ever-growing art scene.” Grateful to be part of this vibrant community and to continue uplifting powerful voices in contemporary art. This week, San Francisco’s Fort Mason is the heart of the art world thanks to @sf_artweek and @fogfair My incredible wife — Sarah Wendell Sherrill @sarahwendellsherrill — happens to be a Board Member of the SF FOG Fair Steering Committee and I couldn’t be more proud of her. Funds from FOG Fair support SFMOMA’s @sfmoma education initiatives which serve more than 100,000 teachers, youth, and families each year.
