My work 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙠 𝙑𝙤𝙮𝙖𝙜𝙚 was previewed last Friday at the Taipei Fine Arts Museum (@tfam_museum ), and opened to public last Saturday. It’s been transformed into an animation installation, curated by Wang Wei-Ting. The curatorial idea brings in playground elements, so the body can move through and around the structures. This is something I’ve been imagining for a long time, and I honestly didn’t think it would actually happen. When I was working on 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙠 𝙑𝙤𝙮𝙖𝙜𝙚 in 2021, I never thought it would one day turn into a real, playable park inside the museum !! With Shek Kip Mei Park in HK having been demolished last year, the work now feels even more memorable...

HART HAUS is pleased to present “𝐃𝐨𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐁𝐥𝐮𝐞: 𝐀𝐧 𝐀𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐲 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐨𝐧𝐠 (𝐈)”, 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐘𝐮𝐤-𝐤𝐢 𝐋𝐞𝐞’s (@florence____l ) latest show, curated by Danson Wong (@167___danson ) and produced by Jackson Kwong (@hinhinkwong ). Every era rewrites its fairy tales, deciding who takes center stage and whose happiness is validated. If Hong Kong had its own fairy tale, what would it look like? Florence Yuk-ki Lee continues her long-term exploration of “topophilia” through experimental animation, transforming Hong Kong’s urban imagery and fairytale structures into an “Altered Fairytale” — where the ocean chronicles the city’s historical time and the sky articulates emotional states. These two blue trajectories intersect within the exhibition space, where the city’s narrative unfolds at the meeting point of tidal waves and flight paths, shaping an unfinished and continually rewritten “Altered Fairytale” — a space suspended between urban landscapes and inner terrain. “Double Blue: An Altered Fairy Tale of Hong Kong II” is a solo exhibition by Hong Kong artist Florence Yuk-ki Lee, opening tomorrow at HART HAUS in Kennedy Town, and running through April 26. In this second chapter, curated by Danson Wong and produced by Jackson Kwong, a variety of expressive forms come together in an intriguing dialogue. 《In the Time of Hope 裂縫》企劃最終站: 《Artists with Tools 實驗修羅》 將於 2026 年 4月 18 日至 4 月 26 日 在香港賽馬會創意藝術中心舉行。 “In the Time of Hope: Artists with Tools” will be held on 18 -26 Apr at Hong Kong Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre. Artists with Tools: Experimental Asura is not conceived as an exhibition in the conventional sense, but as a testing ground — a process in continuous transformation. It brings together artists and creators who use their chosen media as instruments: to reveal, to test, to transmute, and to open spaces where emotion and dialogue may dwell. Here, tools are not merely technical devices. They are extensions of feeling, methods of inquiry, gestures of care. Artists with Tools gathers these evolving stages together, presented as the final chapter of In the Time of Hope. Since 2024, Microwave has been exploring how the convergence of art and technology might open new ways of caring for emotional well-being. So now, we do not merely walk alongside one another, we indeed learn from light — to pass through fissures, to move across walls, and to keep, within the fracture. Let’s hope for hope itself. 《Artists with Tools 實驗修羅》資料 日期|2026 年 4 月 18 日至 4 月 26 日 時間|中午12時至6時 地點|香港賽馬會創意藝術中心2樓10室 地址|九龍石硤尾白田街30號 《Artists with Tools》 Date|18 – 26 April 2026 Time|12nn – 6pn Venue|Room 10, 2/F, Hong Kong JCCAC Address|30 Pak Tin Street, Shek Kip Mei, Kowloon, Hong Kong /hope/ #microwavenewmediaartsfestival #inthetimeofhope #微波國際新媒體藝術節 #裂縫 #尬聊

𝐃𝐨𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐁𝐥𝐮𝐞: 𝐀𝐧 𝐀𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐨𝐧𝐠 (𝐈𝐈)  — 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭-𝐋𝐞𝐝 𝐍𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐂𝐨-𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 Every era rewrites its fairytales. Only when the stories of many are pieced together does this city find its wholeness. 𝐆𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐬 In this second chapter of Double Blue, multiple modes of expression are brought into dialogue. Beyond the artist’s visual interpretations, the exhibition incorporates a participatory dimension, inviting visitors to become storytellers. We invite you to start from the nuances of daily life and gather the whispers scattered within. In this space outlined by two trajectories of Double Blue - the sea and the sky, the city’s "Altered Fairy Tale" begins to form. This is not a search for a standardized fairy-tale ending, but an attempt to allow voices long hidden in the background to be read once more — collectively creating a portrait of the city in all its warmth and authenticity. __________ 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐞 展期: 18.4 - 26.4.2026 𝐕𝐞𝐧𝐮𝐞 地點: HART Haus G/F Cheung Hing Industrial Building, 12P Smithfield, Kennedy Town, Hong Kong 香港堅尼地城士美菲路12P祥興工業大廈地下 __________ 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 開幕: 18.4.2026 (Sat 六) | 16:00-19:00 📍HART HAUS G/F 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐤 藝術家座談: Moderated by 主持人: Vera Lam (@lamlvera ) 23 April 2026 (Thu 四) | 18:30–19:30 📍HART HAUS 4/F Please RSVP 敬請預約(link in bio 連結請見個人檔案)

A home once familiar. — On view until 7 April (Tue) Open during Easter Holidays (Closed on Monday)
