So many people wrote us asking about 1. May. We built something beautiful. But this city is changing. We fought to keep it alive, This year we refuse to force it. But we are not gone. This is our statement:

Creative direction & exhibition design for @kbar.design Installation at the @floathouse.studio × @sightsndsounds show. This one felt special - art and music unfolding across two floors of @studio1111berlin with 500 friends and guests moving through a 270° projected environment. It started when I came across Alex’s work a few month ago and felt it belonged inside a Floathouse space. Over the following weeks, we shaped an installation built from his hand-knitted illustrations, printed frame by frame onto fabric, then brought into motion through stop-motion animation. A small look into the process of translating his world across more than 30 meters of screen. Thank you all ❤️

In the meantime, this is a physical piece that we developed with Alex @kbar.design at @studio1111berlin alongside his exhibition as a wearable artefact of the night. Meet The Artist: @kbar.design Alex Khabbazi works in tension between control and distortion. Using analogue systems - knitting machines, print rolls, etched plates — his process builds images that refuse to stay fixed. Each frame shifts. Each surface carries its own irregularity. Nothing is perfectly repeatable. That’s the point. Originally trained in architecture, his practice now moves across mediums, translating clean structures into unstable, tactile forms. At Floathouse, the work exists in space. Not as a finished image, but as something in motion. On view this Friday. 17.04. studio 11 11

From Evin’s high-energy movement to Helina’s rhythm-led selections, Beqqi’s shifting textures and charli/e’s playful, vocal-driven sets, through EYRA’s system pressure and safejas’ softer, deconstructed forms. Andre Zimmer pushes forward with raw, rave-rooted energy, Ronaldo holds it steady in groove and depth, while Kaito Henry moves between house, indie dance, and darker tones. I’m throwing a party in Berlin and you’re invited Presented by @floathouse.studio + @sightsndsounds We’re taking over @studio1111berlin for an immersive art installation and club night built around my recent animations. Titled “Motion Fragments”, my knit and stitch stop-motion pieces will be projected 270° around the entire main room, turning the walls into a canvas for my work to dance across DJs and musicians will be playing inside the exhibition all night long It’s an art piece you can dance in.
