As part of Milan Design Week at the @alcova.milano venue, we created a seating landscape that forms both a stage and a setting for talks and musical performances. Titled “Transit Encounters,” the sofa reflects on why public spaces so often take on a utilitarian form and how they might be adapted to foster a sense of conviviality.
The project was developed in collaboration with @estheticjoys . Our space serves as a venue for musical performances organized together with Aesthetic Joys, as well as for a series of talks hosted by @design_hotels
Esthetic Joys, in collaboration with Supaform as interior designers, has opened its doors in Belgrade with a new project, @eje.belgrade - a discotheque bar dedicated to culture, music, food, and bringing people together. Music remains central to the @eje.belgrade identity. The project is built around warm, analog sound,
a vinyl-focused listening culture, and an ongoing music program connecting the local independent scene with international artists. The food direction follows the same cosmopolitan approach, with a Japanese chef from Moscow leading a menu that blends Japanese culinary references with a broader cross-cultural sensibility. #supaform
The spatial concept of @eje.belgrade unfolds as a layered, speculative environment where references from different eras and geographies quietly intersect. The project draws from the design language of Yugoslav modernism of the late 1950s and early 1960s, a moment when civic optimism expressed itself through soft, aerodynamic forms and an almost utopian faith in the future.
The dining area of EJE is conceived as a separate “spaceship” module, where guests can retreat into private compartment-like cabins. #supaform
