I’m giving a talk tomorrow lunchtime 21/03/23 via @publicrecordofficeni on a group of young #Cavan and #Monaghan photographers who were active in the 1890s. I first looked at this topic for Breifne Historical Society journal in 2010 but since then much more information has become available. It has long been an ambition of mine to get an article published in the Journal of the History of Photography and I finally did it.
My article on a War of Independence IRA surveillance file is now published in a special issue on policing and photography edited by Jason Hill and Zeynep Devrim Gürsel. Thanks to Eve Morrison for her help.
