**IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT**
Fighting With Pride to Participate in Judicial Review
We want to update our community on an important development.
Following the launch of the judicial review against the Ministry of Defence on the terms of the Financial Recognition Scheme, Fighting With Pride has been formally named as an “interested party”. After careful consideration, our trustees have unanimously agreed that we will fully participate in the proceedings. As an interested party, Fighting With Pride will have a direct opportunity and formal role in assisting the court to understand the context of the cases.

The @royal_air_force_museum London is delighted to invite you to Pride in Service Day on Sunday, 31st May – a full and varied programme of storytelling and performances celebrating the contributions of LGBTQ+ people in the Armed Forces.
All events are free, although booking is required for the Veterans Tea Party and recommended for other activities including the @ldngmc London Gay Men's Chorus. Please see the full programme here.

The event includes the opening of a new art installation in Hangar 2, made to commemorate 25 years since the repeal of the Armed Forces ‘gay ban’ – ‘The Echoes and Shadows of Identity’ by veteran artist David Tovey. Tovey co-created the work with LGBT+ veterans and personnel through a year-long series of consultation workshops.

The Dedication of the LGBT+ Armed Forces Community Memorial in October of 2025 by His Majesty, King Charles III, was an incredible day.
We know that many people were disappointed not being able to attend due to the tight restrictions on numbers.
Thanks to a generous donation by @royalbritishlegion we are holding a less formal, Community Dedication Event on Saturday 20th June at the @nat_mem_arb in Staffordshire.
Arrivals from 10:30 for a ceremony at the memorial at 11:00, followed by a picnic lunch from 12:00-14:00, this will be an event for all of the Armed Forces Community, their friends and families.
If you think you would like to attend, please follow the link below to register an expression of interest so we can have a better idea of numbers for planning and budgets.

Evolution is good!
And our website has evolved, with a clean, fresh new look and added functionality!
In particular look out for * Improved Events and Opportunity Listings * Embedded YouTube Channel for our Media * PDF Flip book viewers for important documents like the LGBT Veterans Independent review * Better links to our current serving comrades * More of the history front and centre * Galleries to record our events
Some of these will get more fully populated over the weeks to come (YouTube Channel and Galleries) But for now, our refreshed site is up and running.
We want to thank @greenwichhospitaluk for their incredibly generous funding which allowed us to make the refresh and also our long term digital partners @madison_agency_official for the work they did to refresh and migrate things.
