Reflective, heartfelt, and piercingly tender, Mol Sullivan brings her unforgettable voice and soul-baring songs to the Gridley Chapel for one special night. She’s joined by Field Guides who comes from an “organic, indie-folk space that encourages stream of consciousness (both lyrically and instrumentally) and unique melodic lines seemingly plucked out of thin air” (Chris Ingalls, PopMatters). Yellow, how are you holding up?! I’m very overwhelmed. But I’m excited to play a show at a chapel in Wassaic with my crouching cousin, the one & only @mol.sullivan , next week!!! Gonna be joined by @nora_knight and @tbcisme and possibly @strawberry_runners on a tune or two! It’ll be a heck of a time.
We just had a really inspiring buncha days recording the next @strawberry_runners album with @katievonschleicher , and I can’t wait for y’all to hear it!
Some of my favorite albums of 2024, several by very dear pals. This music kept me company and provided much comfort and inspiration throughout this very busy year. (One of these was released in December of ‘23, but we don’t bother with technicalities round these parts.)

These final performances of the O+ Festival installation are tomorrow, Thursday, October 17th at 6 and 6:30pm. Space is limited! RSVP by emailing [email protected] to reserve your seat. Performances are approx. 30 minutes and there is no cost to attend.
The Nature of Intimacy explores intimacy and isolation through sound. The center of the work is an electric guitar where the electronics have been removed and replaced with modified stethoscopes. During the performances, audience members sit in a circle around the installation, listening through the stethoscopes while Kupstas plays the altered instrument. The weird noisy folk band PEEPERS that I play in with @cmj_official_artist@jeffypoopoo & @tiannakennedy (joined this time by pal @_c.h.u.d._ from one of my favorite bands, Jantar) will be performing alongside luminaries @luvandoverstanding , @eucademix , & @terra.cotta.online ! There’ll be delicious food, exceptional humans, friendly dogs, a worthy cause, a gorgeous setting…
