i feel an immense amount of love and affection for everyone and everything that transpired to make it the spiritual vibe that it was. it was IGLESIA! church on the concrete planet— saying grace on the sidewalk under the sky. thank you to the sun, the rains, the trees, the vanguard of brownstones & beloved brooklyn stoops standing sentry. so much gratitude for my home planet & to all the people that find themselves here.
st james joy was borne in dark uncertain times & i am so grateful to the Vill family for the gift. we need it now more then ever. shout out to @louievega , maestro! a true master at work! love the way you ride those turntables. i love how much you enjoy yourself! what a blessing to make it to the block! speaking of master at work, shout out to @karlalamusic & his pink cathedral of a sound system. there is nothing better! what a damn blessing. i’ll stop now! you get the gist!

20 years of the most fun, most special thing NYC still has to offer. all the hard work and organization that goes into it is not unnoticed! you guys are the best— the most high appreciation for the crew!

sometime in the last few days, we hit three months at the shop. (we even got a shop cat. his name is casio) 90 days of @cwwradioshop , something that has been simmering on the back burn for so many years, birthed by so many people, near & far, here & away in the next dimensions.
shoutout to my family justin & kenan @chanceswithwolves & bene @360recordshop & sam & jameson @rodeo.bk & (mattthompson) for creating this beautiful thing.
in three+ months, we’ve already hosted so many beloved disc jockeys, such good dance parties.
we’ve thrown secret surprise baby showers, wedding pre parties, wedding after parties (yo have your wedding here) & mad many birthdays.
it feels like it’s all just begun, & im really so excited to see what beautiful people sweep thru the doors next & what kinda music we’ll be playing.
just a little behind the scenes rack of happiness collected while working on this dream project.

there is something about watching the live action feature of one of my favorite books of all time play out on the screen in front of me, play out in real time across the globe/another planet/ alternate reality that i kinda can’t shake.
