Bittersweet is the only word we can think of to deliver the news that @cwwradioshop is no more. We wanna thank every one of you who came out to shop, dance, or just shoot the breeze. We loved having a space to hang out with you all. Thx to everyone who DJ’d and worked at the shop. Thanks to the block for embracing us. We’ll miss being there. We got got some cool stuff cooking that we’ll update you on soon - please take care of your beautiful selves in the meantime.
Party people - our musical output has been a little slow lately, and we owe you an episode, which is coming up shortly. We have had X amount of things going on - some good, some bad, and some ugly. Without RADIO idk where we would be. All the changes in the world, in our lives over the past 18 years - RADIO has remained constant, and opened up so many paths for us. It is in this spirit of gratitude and love that we are launching @lovestreamsdetroit as a fully functional (streaming and terrestrial) community radio station inside our new Listening bar (@tigrisdetroit ), which is opening SOON in the great city of DETROIT. There will be a lot more to share in the coming weeks. In the meantime, if you’re in the D, or going to be passing thru and would like to explore a radio slot HIT US UP, and follow for updates. I’ve spoken to some of yall about this but we are getting closer now and very excited to hit the ground running. ✌️💙📻📡
