Impressions of Ethiopia for violin and electronics
Hosted at 360 record shop, a real neighborhood gem in Red Hook, and one of the best curated spaces you can find around. This spot is far more than your run of the mill record shop, think more organism/nucleus/house of smiles
Come hang, hear the album on the gorgeous speakers, and step into the world behind it. I’ll be playing the full record, sharing some of the stories + textures that shaped it, and there will be popcorn, fabric, frankincense. We’ll also spin some Ethiopian 45s from the dusty stacks, and there will be some special out of town guests! We’ll have some wine but BYO as well
