Dans le cadre du module consacré à la production et à la médiation de l’exposition, l’intervenante 𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐚 𝐁𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐮 𝐑𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐎𝐔𝐋 𝐒𝐘 a apporté des éclairages détaillés sur les différentes étapes de conception d’une exposition. Elle a notamment expliqué le processus de production, de la définition du concept à la mise en espace, en passant par la sélection des œuvres, la coordination des acteurs et l’organisation logistique. Elle a également insisté sur le rôle essentiel de la médiation culturelle, en présentant des outils et méthodes permettant de faciliter la compréhension des œuvres par les publics. Les participants ont ainsi découvert l’importance de la scénographie, de la narration curatoriale, ainsi que des dispositifs pédagogiques favorisant l’interaction et l’engagement des visiteurs. Une séance riche en apprentissages qui a permis aux apprenants de mieux comprendre les enjeux pratiques et professionnels liés aux métiers de l’exposition. 🎓 LABO Bénin ACCUEILLE : 𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐚 𝐁𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐮 𝐑𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐎𝐔𝐋 𝐒𝐘 Commissaire d’exposition et directrice des programmes à RAW Material Company (Dakar), Fatima Bintou Rassoul SY développe une pratique centrée sur les archives, la mémoire et les récits liés aux territoires noirs. Elle crée des espaces favorisant l’émergence d’histoires souvent négligées et a collaboré avec des institutions majeures telles que le Musée du Louvre, le Musée Rodin, le Grand Palais ou encore la Fondation Louis Vuitton. MEET OUR FACILITATORS ÌMÍ 2026 - WHAT REMAINS WHAT RISES Creative Residency Lab Fatima Bintou Rassoul SY, a Dakar-based curator and Programme Director of RAW Material Company. With a strong interest in archives and narratives of black geographies, Fatima’s practice uncovers stories that are often overlooked or untold, and explores the ways in which communities inhabit and reflect on their own experiences. She is committed to creating spaces where these stories can be brought to life, preserving collective memory and fostering deeper connections within and between beings. Since joining 2020, she has contributed to the organisation’s curatorial direction, discursive programming and international collaborations. 🌿 Walk&Talk – Bienal de Artes began yesterday at Casa da Bienal with a conversation with the curatorial team about the process behind 𝐺𝐸𝑆𝑇𝑈𝑅𝐸𝑆 𝑂𝐹 𝐴𝐵𝑈𝑁𝐷𝐴𝑁𝐶𝐸. Praça do Município was filled with celebration, with a dinner for everyone inspired by the volcanic abundance and knowledge of this territory — created by Catarina Ferreira, Joana Albuquerque, Paula Aguiar (𝘈𝘻𝘰𝘳𝘦𝘴 𝘌𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘢𝘭𝘴) and Chef Paulo Costa (𝘊𝘢𝘭𝘥𝘦𝘪𝘳𝘢𝘴&𝘝𝘶𝘭𝘤𝘰̃𝘦𝘴) for the official opening.
