โI am always looking for the point where I see or feel there is harmony in a painting.โโFatma Shanan
@fatmashanan
Fatma Shananโs paintings are dappled with hazy light, depicting scenes in which landscapes, buildings, plants and the human body melt seamlessly into one another. Her works feel hot and languid, with figures lounging back or melding into the scenery around them.
Shanan often works from photographs of herself and the surrounding landscape, which she reinterprets on canvas.
