Chicken and rice is a good meal. But it shouldn’t be the ONLY meal you eat! I keep hearing riders talk about other programs they’ve been on where the only instructions they give for nutrition is to “eat chicken and rice.” That’s it. This tells me two things about those other coaches - 1. They don’t actually know much about nutrition & 2. They don’t want to take the time with each rider to coach them the correct way to go about nutrition. So chicken and rice it is 🙄 So yeah. If your coach has you on the chicken and rice meal plan, it’s time to find a new freaking coach. I might know a good one 😉 #motocross #mx #motolife #dirtbikes #moto

I can’t understand how people still argue with me on this one. If you pay any attention to the big pros, they talk about how important it is to be strong. Deegan just said after the race this past weekend that he’s been training to BUILD STRENGTH because the 450 is a big bike to handle. Ken Roczen is RIPPED. Chase Sexton is RIPPED. The top guys are all muscular. Not body builder physique muscular, and I think that’s the main thing to point out here, but lean and mean and athletic and STRONG AF. That doesn’t happen by accident. And it sure as hell doesn’t happen by only cycling. I can promise you that. When you are ready to be strong enough to handle a 200lbs+ motorcycle for more than 2 laps without turning into a 🦑, dm me STRENGTH and we will get you dialed 👊🏼 #motocross #mx #motolife #dirtbike #moto

Too much cardio tells your body to get smaller and more efficient — not stronger. That means less fat but also less muscle mass to hold onto the bike. That leads to more fatigue and hello arm pump 👋🏼 Strength + cardio = endurance that actually transfers to riding. If you want to ride longer, stronger, and with more control… your training needs to match that. DM me “CARDIO” and I’ll help you fix your program 🔥 #motocross #mx #motolife #motocrosstraining #dirtbikelife

We aren’t “those guys” because that doesn’t work for everyone. Ourselves included. Phil and I race. We are vet riders. Both working. We know what it’s like to have different priorities. Injuries to work through. Races to focus on. We don’t pull this sh*t outta thin air, making it up as we go. That crap doesn’t work. I know that because I live this lifestyle. EVERY SINGLE DAY. That’s why we build @shred_mxconditioning . To fill a need we had ourselves, with a mission to help as many other riders as possible. If you wanna give custom fitness & nutrition coaching a try, lmk. And if you still think we don’t know what we are doing, talk to one of the over 100 riders we’ve helped. Their stories don’t lie 😎 #motocross #mx #motolife #moto #dirtbikes

Unpopular truth… Being sore after every ride or race isn’t something to be proud of. It’s feedback. If your body is wrecked every time you get off the bike, it’s not because you “rode so hard”… It’s because your body isn’t prepared to handle the demand of riding at that level. And before the ego jumps in— “No, it just means I ride harder than you.” Cool. Then explain why riders who are actually conditioned for the sport… aren’t constantly sore? 👀 One of the first things that every new rider on our program says is how much they lack soreness after riding now. From female riders, to young kids, and 50+ vet riders. Beginner to advanced, doesn’t matter. If you are doing the right things OFF the bike, it makes a huge difference. Phil pushes hard every time he is on the track and doesn’t get sore after. Tbh even when he eats shit he’s rarely sore. He’s a great rider, but his conditioning is on another level. Strength + endurance + proper training = a body that can PERFORM and RECOVER. Even after crashes. Not just survive the weekend and limp through the next week. & If this post made you feel some type of way… Good. That’s your sign. Because the riders who argue this the hardest are usually the ones who need the most help. If you’re ready to actually ride longer, recover faster, and feel STRONG on the bike instead of smoked— AND are willing to try something a little different… DM me “RIDE” and we will get you dialed 🏁 #motocross #motolife #mx #dirtbikes #conditioning

I’m legit so tired of saying this but I’ll say it anyway - Most riders are training completely backwards. They either: 👉 Do a ton of cardio… and can’t hold onto the bike 👉 Or lift weights… and gas out in a few laps Both lead to the same thing: arm pump, fatigue, and dropping anchor mid-moto. Here’s the truth 👇 Cardio builds your engine. Strength gives you control of the bike. You need BOTH if you actually want endurance on the track. Because endurance in motocross isn’t just about “lasting longer”… It’s about being able to hold form, stay aggressive, and ride at pace the entire moto. No strength = your body gives out No cardio = your energy system gives out Either way… you’re slowing down. Train like a rider — not a marathoner, not a bodybuilder. If you want help building a program that actually translates to the track, DM me “ENDURANCE” and I’ll help you out 👊 #motocross #mx #motolife #dirtbikes #endurance

Everyone’s life looks different. Different schedules. Different responsibilities. Different stress. But the results you want? The strong body. The confidence. The freedom. The fitness. They all come at the same price. Effort. Consistency. Prioritization. And here’s the truth most people don’t want to hear… The people who have what you want? They’re busy too. They didn’t magically find more hours in the day. They just decided their goals were worth making time for. So when you say “I don’t have time”… What you’re really saying is “it’s not a priority right now.” And that’s fine—until you start wondering why nothing is changing. No one has it easier than you. They’re just more focused than you. So if this hit a nerve… good. That means you know it’s time. Get off the excuse train. Lock in. Do the damn thing. And if that “thing” is getting in shape, losing weight, or becoming a better rider on your dirt bike… I got you 🤝 DM me “SHRED” and let’s get to work. #motocross #noexcuses #dirtbikelife #motolife #mx
