The Beast shall rise again!
Now that we have the old Alpha Leg back in the lab (built 2010-2015), it's time to pull up the original @solidworks models and start imagining how to transform it into the Alpha Arm.
The Alpha Leg! The original 2:3 scale prototype leg we built in 2010 to develop and test our motion control tech. We brought out from 8 years in storage now that we have a new lab facility in Squamish, an hour north of Vancouver, also where we've been field testing the PX1.
We're pretty excited about our new neighbors, @secretsaunaco . You can see one of their sweet mobile sauna units in the background. Nothing like a nice sauna to loosen you up after a day of hard meching 🦾🔥♥️
There is still lots of room for artistry in the use of AI tools to create visuals, as tech alchemist @koto9x demonstrated at Grimes' Coachella show. They really come to life in a a way that is uniquely transfixing when you see them in motion. I had no idea what beauty was unfolding behind me while I was on stage - @jonathan.g.tippett
