Sunday’s first Unfurl was filled with light, in every sense! ⋆✴︎
It was such a joy to see @noordspace come alive, filled with people arriving from all different corners. Some were drawn in by tea who discovered music, others the other way around. Meanwhile the sunlight was in tune with it all, with light passing between cups, conversations, ambient, jazz, more teas and your presence.
A big thank you to @chamoodstea for sharing your leaves & knowledge, to @rds_dl for his special selection of records, and @mariusrnrd for capturing all the magic on camera!

In a far away pre covid 2019, we used to be housemates, and made a lot of tunes together.
We ended up one day in a studio setup that was a bit unfamiliar, new patch bays, new machines. The first jam ended up around 155 bpm and became a really special piece of music. However, after dropping down the tempo by 30 bpm, and forgetting which button did what, somehow this jam emerged. It reminded us of early UK dreamy tech house, and was put out as the digital bonus on a @kalaharioystercult EP of Eversines.
For @delichting ‘s new album ‘Vier’, this track finally gets its place on record, closing out the compilation. Hope you like it, it’s special to us :)
Nerdery for a subject seemingly as simple as loose leaf tea has brought four curious tea sippers together to invite you to: ᴜɴꜰᴜʀʟ
On Sunday April 19th, we host our first sonic tea gathering at @noordspace , where we will learn about and experience the traditional Chinese way of preparing tea: Gong Fu Cha. High ratios of leaves to water, short steepings, and many repetitions create a story where the tea can unwind in consecutive chapters. Accompanied sound waves are provided by @rds_dl , @_._robbin and a live ambient set of @eversines , and the tastiest tea + knowledge brought to you by our dear friend @chamoodstea .
Tickets are limited for this event, and for 16€ includes all the tea that we’ll be brewing up. Drinking tea together really brings a different dimension to the experience, we hope you’ll join us on this adventure.

We’re excited to announce that they will be back: @eversines b2b @marie_k_music !
After delivering last year’s b2b live show at the festival garden, their return was imminent. Our favourite festival duo, also de-facto residents of the premises, are a cornerstone of the festival and Nous’klaer at large.
Marie K, a Rotterdam-based DJ and producer, blends classical roots with a deep, groovy energy. Whether live or behind the decks, her sets are always dreamy, therapeutic, and built to move both body and soul. Eversines, a Nous’klaer staple for years, has spent over a decade shaping Rotterdam’s sound, from his debut album on Wex Records, via De Lichting to releases on Kalahari Oyster Cult, Slow Life, and, of course, Nous’klaer Audio. His imprint, Jamming Is Life, is a home for his own music and that of his closest collaborators.
This year we prepare for a home-run as the winning team again unites behind the decks.

Digging deep into his record collection, the Dutch producer serves up a propulsive and twisting breakbeat-only mix
“This mix consists of mostly tracks that I really dearly love, but tend to not play out that much. It’s a breakbeat only mix, and in managing a dance floor, in the genre I’m active in, it can often be a risky move to start playing breakbeat for more than two tracks consecutively, as the four to the floor is more easy to grasp and dance to for some. So I had a bit of an idea in mind but there was also room for a little improvisation, and I think it turned out playful and varied with some cool twists!”
