Forever grateful to Vasilis Katsoupis, George Karnavas and @heretic.films for having me sit on a dolly and see Willem Dafoe perform his heart out in front of a lens, on a Sunday, in a small tavern somewhere in Athens. Honestly it even feels surreal typing this. Unarguably one of my most special times behind a camera!

"The goal was to tell an emotional story from the pov of a Coca-Cola can and personify the product in a subtle way. Before the shoot I cut an animatic from existing material. We pulled hundreds of references, searching for the perfect shots to inspire the language and tone of the film. My favorite moment is the CGI droplet, which falls away from the lens and flies through the air like a spacecraft reentering earths atmosphere. Our animatic really informed how that moment could work in the film." Editor @thekidmatt

Tech Specs:
We used the sony venice, and the freefly ember for highspeed shots. For lenses we used ARRI signature primes as our main set but also used canon K35s, the DZO probe zoom, and the cooke sp3 on some shots like the robot arm for keeping things light.
Square of the Unseen will be premiered in Thessaloniki International Documentary Festival.

In @doxem 's darkly absurd short commissioned by @abfab_productions 'Something Like The End of The World', one woman's heartbreak spreads through an Athens restaurant like an emotional virus. Emma breaks down how she stripped fainting of its melodramatic embroidery to create a procedural refusal, why the 4:3 ratio functions as both intimate portraiture and surveillance apparatus, and how shooting with @evansteez in a single day gave the film its theatrical, unbroken pulse.

Lately I’ve been noticing my left eye getting more wrinkles on the edge compared to my right eye. At first I thought it could potentially be just growing up I guess, but the unevenness didn’t make sense until very recently.
Always grateful to furiously close my left eye to the world, privileged to chase in the mornings what we dream of at nights, along some wonderful individuals.
However, I think this has been the first year of my life to feel even more deeply privileged to be allowed to fail surrounded by my beloveds.
Building a home within, day after day, year after year.
Much appreciation to all the people that made this year what it was.
Very proud to be inducted as the newest member of the Greek Society of Cinematographers (GSC). A significant milestone that portrays the acceptance and recognition of one's achievements by fellow cinematographers of the Society.
The sense of belonging amongst colleagues that I have truly admired and looked up to since the dawn of my days behind a lens, is a feeling that I'm really struggling to put into words.
