❤️❤️❤️📸📹🎥🎞️❤️❤️❤️A few photos to reminisce on this past year and all the great cinematographers and assistants I got to work with… mostly tho to remember that it was such a mad up and down for our industry. Not to be a downer, but we have to remind all of us to stay vigilant and be grateful for the privilege that our work is. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for being such wonderful artisans and incredible people and wish all of you a very happy and solid 2026 - and that in a year, when I will delete this post, all the people I tagged, the ones that I forgot and the ones that I will meet will make for an even greater photo story :) #steadicam #steadicamoperator #2025 #operator #cinematography
Beginning of the month I had the first chance to work with a rig that I have been assembling over the past half year or so with the extensive help and thanks to @maurizio_aloi_calicocam who provided me with all the services from installation of my new #steadicamvolt to the @flowcine #xspine & #xarm and of course his v18 sled. I couldn’t be happier with the first results (as I’m building new muscle memory with the Volt )- especially since I had the pleasure of breaking it in on a very dear to my heart documentary project directed by @leonardi.films , which after 4 years of filming all over Europe wrapped this may in Cyprus. So hurray for the symbolism of endings and new beginnings 😅 a special thanks to @davogaiser (whose photo was cropped since I couldn’t leak the left hand side of the frame), @toque_o_ritmo & Eleni Lola for pulling razor sharp focus on our shoots in Lesbos and Lefkosia.
