En mars 2024, un local situé juste en face de nos bureaux se libère. On se lance alors le défi de transformer cette ancienne friperie en notre 5e et plus prestigieuse salle d’étalonnage. Naïvement, je pensais que ça allait nous prendre 2 mois. Un an plus tard, l’espace est enfin prêt. Grâce à ma talentueuse cousine, Leia Gorra @leiagorra , architecte, nous avons imaginé un lieu unique. Bakkali @bakkali_renovation a réalisé un travail exceptionnel pour donner vie à notre vision. Merci à Isabela @isabelamayerphoto pour les photos professionnelles du lieu: Image: 3, 5, 12, 15 et 18. Quand j’ai commencé l’étalonnage, il y a dix ans, dans ma chambre, je n’aurais jamais rêvé en arriver là. J’ai connu la solitude, enchaîné les nuits blanches et les journées de travail acharné pour me faire une place. La plus belle réussite que j’ai aujourd’hui est ma team : Inès, Alexis et Alexandre. On a la chance de rencontrer et de travailler avec de merveilleuses personnes qui, au-delà des collaborations, sont devenues de vrais amis. C’est grâce à vous qu’on prend autant de plaisir à faire ce qu’on fait 🫶🏻 Concernant nos ambitions en étalonnage, elles sont restées les mêmes depuis Le monde ou rien de PNL. F.

“Honestly, this was one of the wildest experiences I’ve had as a director. The water changes everything - light doesn’t behave the way you expect, colors fall off fast, and every little movement looks twice as dramatic. It was beautiful, but also a constant fight to keep control. Long hours submerged, heavy gear, and trying to direct a team that’s half underwater and half above. But those challenges ended up being the magic. “We built a platform over the sea. That structure became the foundation for many of the setups. The levitation scenes then took us another full day to capture. None of this would’ve been possible without our performer, Titouan Croizier. He absorbed my references for movement and emotion and transformed them into something so visceral and powerful. From the beginning, our goal was to achieve as much as possible in-camera, using different filters to create bold, punchy looks.
