We transformed The Ballroom at Euridge to become unrecognisable. Splitting the space using truss and draping into a moody driving room and a 1920’s Quintin Tarantino inspired afterparty space - swipe to see the before and after. The dining space was artfully covered in coffee coloured drape, an on the tables were glints of gold cream and black. The afterparty ‘Noir Bar’ was designed to emulate gangster glamour with black draping, an empire and gold chain chandelier ceiling installation, marble-style checkerboard flooring, fringed black velvet lounge furniture and up-lit backbar with all spirits for serving in antique crystal whiskey decanters. After the ceremony, guests entered into the transformed Ballroom for the first time. A dining area covered in opulent drapery, seamlessly blending the couple’s love of contemporary styling with classic elegance. We served cocktails and delicate Asian-inspired canapés, a nod to their favourite restaurants, while the smooth sounds of live jazz set the mood. Menus were illustrated in the style of Japanese art and featured palm trees inspired by the daily walks the couple take with their beloved dogs. Guests were invited to visit an old-fashioned cinema ticket booth to find their seats, a playful reference to H&C’s tradition of spending Sundays at the cinema together. A moment for the Groom and appreciation for the second shooter here. Shots like these first few are often obtained by a second shooter whilst your main photographer is capturing bridal prep. Having 2 photographers (especially if you’re in separate locations, if your venue is vast or if you’re planning one changing cards or gifts) means everything is captured.
