A warm hello from me-Kim, Founder and Creative Director of Dreamboats and Carousels.
Over the past five and a half years, Dreamboats and Carousels has built a reputation for designing florals for extraordinary weddings and events across the UK and beyond. Our work is instantly recognisable-defined by large-scale installations that transform a space.
Nothing is replicated; nothing accidental. Every design is carefully considered, rooted in context, scale, and story-reimagining even the most familiar settings with a sense of playful yet artistic precision.
I’ve always believed in leading from the front, remaining deeply involved in the design, preparation, and final execution of our briefs. I believe this extremely hands-on approach reinforces the signature style that is apparent in all of our creations, as my vision and flowering hands thread throughout every brief.
Working alongside my brilliant team, I never take the trust our clients place in us lightly. Always evolving, always creating-with gratitude at the heart of it all.
Aside from floral artistry, I’m a big film buff and love getting out into nature, travelling, and finding great places to eat and drink (ideally all of the above with my favourite people). Most days you’ll find me at our riverside home in York, usually with our rescue pup Nala glued to my side.
