The welcome dinner💕 Our wedding weekend began by gathering our closest family and friends for an elevated garden party that set the tone for everything to come. Long candlelit tables sat under arches of cascading greenery, where we shared lobster, filet, and the sweetest ending - Crème London cookies and Basque cheesecakes from La Maritxu, couriered straight to the countryside just for the night.
Each guest had a personalized gift bag waiting at their seat, with a handwritten letter and little treasures inside - engraved mirrors for the women, connection card decks, tins of English breakfast tea, aged whisky for the men, truffle chips, and more.
For the evening, I wore a rare Christian Dior Boutique suit from John Galliano’s Spring 1998 collection, a buttercream lace jacket and skirt preserved together from the original season, sourced through a vintage bridal atelier. I paired it with Manolo Blahniks and simple diamond studs I borrowed from my best friend.
As the sun set over the gardens, live piano music by
@thejudahearl (my lead composer for
@activationsapp ) carried through the evening, adding an undercurrent of cinematic romance to a night that felt both intimate and grand.
I truly can’t thank our wedding planner
@katrinaotterwed enough - every detail was perfect. And as Ben said in his speech, you executed my vision with ‘military precision’ 🫡🩷
