I’m so late to the party that we’re already at Launch Day! I meant to post when we were at Sundance celebrating this amazing film, but in the moment I was taking it all in (and still working to get the film delivered), but I want to share how profoundly proud I am of this film and the work that the team did under the inspired leadership of Ahmir and Joseph. I’m immensely grateful to have been along on this journey with you. Shout out to the incredible team at Onyx / Hulu / Disney - who both shepherded this film beautifully and know how to throw a killer Sundance party!, and the team at MRC - we couldn’t have had a better partner for this project. And a very special thanks to Derik Murray & our team at Network (Matthew Van Deventer - you put your blood, sweat, and tears into this project and it shows - and Bianca Cervantes who kept him (us) as sane as anyone could!).
