our journey began within the walls of jean jullien’s (
@jean_jullien ) studio. julien, a long-time friend and collaborator, introduced us to their shared creative world, where we captured the quiet, candid synergy between the two.
"in reality, my circle of friends is first and foremost made up of people i met through work. they’re people who stand by what i do, just as i stand by them. we like to lift each other up. that’s how i like to live in Paris."
just a few hundred meters from the studio, we discovered a new neighborhood anchor: tactile (
@tactilecafe ). through phamily first (
@phamilyfirst ), julien supported the opening of this space, one that intentionally resists the standard tropes of "specialty coffee" in favor of something more tactile and personal.
