Lonely princess After the parade in Disneyland Tokyo. It’s a place of visual marvel, dressed up people , costumes and decors everywhere. A fantastic blend of reality and fiction. Have you ever been?

When I was living in Tokyo, I was obsessing over the everyday graphics. From food packaging to magazines, everything was overwhelmingly graphic. Maybe the fact that I couldn’t read Japanese… it turned letters into drawings, paragraphs into shapes and made me want to capture everything in painting or drawing. I came back with an unreasonable number of items and started painting a new series. This is a magazine stand in Chiba on my way back from surfing with @hi_dutch , @sekizawaseisakusho @reika_kikuchi1211 and @hanaiyusuke . The painting is on view at @galerie_masurel
