If you know me, you also know what @tresorberlin means to me and how deeply its values and vision has shaped my own one. Extremely happy to announce that I am finally expanding the @solarbodyuk universe⁣ ♾️♾️♾️⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ I originally started the label as a way to get my own music out into the world as quickly as possible, but I always hoped to eventually start releasing stuff by others and to share the tunes and artists I’m invested in/who inspire me. I’m very stoked to reveal what I have in store for the imprint over the coming months... ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ So to mark the start of a new era, and for Solar Body’s 6th release, we have a killer record from my favourite newcomer on the scene, who I’ve already raved about a fair amount in the past year or so - Berlin based producer, @endrew___ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ I discovered Endrew after he debuted on Shed’s label ‘Upfront Copy’ back in 2023. I then ended up scouting him for an 8-track EP on Scuba’s @hotflushuk earlier this year during my time there as a guest A&R. ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ Andrea makes a crazy amount of great music, and even with an 8-track record out there so recently, I felt as though people just needed to hear more. He has an extremely forward-thinking way of making tunes - please check out his back catalogue if you haven’t already. ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ Both tracks showcase how diverse and talented he is as a producer/sound designer. The title track ‘8AM’ is out now and sinks deep into moody, hazy early hours territory. FIDES X4 and my track “Alright” have been out for a few weeks now and I just wanted to say thank you for all the support and feedback so far 🤍 My journey with this project started actually long before my name appeared on the record and that is honestly the biggest gift. Being alongside @zippo.fides while he built his vision for the Fides 10 year anniversary and helping it grow from an idea into something so real is something I will keep close to my heart. The @fides.lab 10 year celebration at Berlin's @soundcloud HQ in October was what kicked everything off and it was truly something special. Our community in one room, the talk with @trainwrecks.69 , the workshops with @markverbos and the music all made it a memorable moment. Seeing how the scene responded to Fides X as a whole made everything click! Ten years of Fides tell a story of love for music, consistency and clear vision. What Z.I.P.P.O has built over the years with such coherence, dedication and taste in a scene where that is becoming increasingly rare deserves to be celebrated loudly! I'm thrilled to announce that my debut EP 'Martiri del Futuro' will be released on UFC Records on July 14th. I'm deeply grateful for everything unfolding in my life right now, and it's difficult to put this intensely emotional and significant milestone into words. The experience of seeing and physically touching my music for the first time, stamping each vinyl one by one, was incredibly moving. My Hotflush Tape is out now and available only on @applemusic When @scubaofficial invited me to record my first DJ Mix I knew I wanted to make something special. While digging I rediscovered the Earth Volume Three LP (1998) by jungle pioneer @ltj_bukem on Earth Records. Hidden in the CD I found 'Constellation' a rap track featuring vocalist DRS. more than a track, it felt like a manifesto of music and vision, an expression of his devotion to the art that fueled his pioneering spirit in jungle and drum & bass culture. Exploring his history and discography lit the spark for a mix that moves through Jungle, Bass, UK Garage, Drum and Bass, and IDM, sounds that have always expanded my perspective beyond the straight 4/4 edm music Inside you’ll find some of my favorite tracks, artists, and labels, focusing on today’s sounds while carefully bridging them with the old school.
