Ok last sneak peek before Inman Eats tomorrow! I’ve been working away at this batch of mostly monochromatic one of a kind brooches and small framed pieces. I’ve been really happy with them and have a whole pile of WIPs so I’m hoping to have a big online update in early June too 🥰✨
Anyway hope to see local folks tomorrow! I only have one other Boston area event on the calendar for the next couple months, so not a ton of in-person shopping opportunities for awhile 😆

It’s almost here!!!!!!!! Inman Eats is my favorite spring event and it is less than two days away!
I didn’t share this earlier bc I wasn’t sure they would arrive in time but I like to do a new food sticker for this event, and these chonky bolo bao stickers were delivered today, just in time! They’re on the larger side and glossy and now I want Chinese bakery snacks 😆🙃
Should have a couple more previews before Sunday’s event! Looks like it’s going to be nice and warm, don’t forget your sunblock if you’re coming out!
Some of you may have seen the little hint I snuck in stories a few weeks back, but it’s here on the grid now as an official announcement:
For the first time in a few years, I’m opening up custom cat portrait yeti & sasquatches again! AND for the first time ever, I will be opening up some spots for custom dog portraits AND custom objects (!)
First up are the custom cat portraits: those will be available TODAY, 5/1 at noon EST. The listing is already up on the website if you’d like to check out the details, and as always with custom portraits, they will be listed in limited quantity batches.
Dog portraits and custom food/objects will be available a few weeks after that, around mid-May.

Happy first day of spring, we celebrated by making a trek to Super Secret Ice Cream in decidedly un-spring like weather. We obviously got an ice cream flight, and every single flavor was DELICIOUS. Highly recommend, though maybe try for a time when you don’t then have to drive through a snowstorm to get to your next destination. We’ll definitely be back sooner than later 😍
So this didn’t get posted earlier today AHEAD of tonight’s LNY event at @bow.market but all the things here are still true 😆
I think it’s been a weird start to the year for a lot of people and I’ve definitely had trouble settling into a creative groove but I finally got these fun tiny pendant and brooch pieces finished, and will have them with me tonight at @bow.market ; any leftovers will make their way to the website in the next week or two.
Second photo is what I’ve been doing when my brain can’t settle into where I need it to be to make new work — and I’m collecting quite a batch of these friendship bracelets. From here on out, I’ll have these with me at any in person events, and if you make a donation to LUCE (or similar org), you can have a bracelet.
Tonight’s lunar new year event should be a really great community event, and also loaded with so much good food and other events and specials; please stop by and say hello if you’re in the area.

Happy belated gotcha day to this best boy, who truly continues to be the sweetest (and most awkward) of perfect angels. It’s so hard to believe that it’s been 8 years since we brought him home. We love you Winston!
(I have been trying to rest & recuperate a bit! and I guess in this year that I posted maybe the least I’ve ever posted here, it’s sort of fitting that I didn’t prepare a 2025 recap in time to post before the new year. Honestly I might not do it at all 😆 not that there weren’t some highlights this past year, but I think I’m ready for the new year. The holidays are complicated for so many folks(for many reasons), and to many of us it is just a LOT of working hours — so here is wishing you all whatever you want or need most in this last week of the calendar year. Definitely feels like a lot of us are stumbling toward the finish line, and I’m honestly really looking forward to this year being over; but I continue to be grateful to everyone who shows up here/all the other places in my life with support and care. Welp life has been life-ing over here and it feels like I’m behind on *everything* but from what I’ve been hearing from others, I’m not the only one feeling like this month has been on fast forward?
So without further ado here are this year’s incognito bears — a little octopus (tako) and a takoyaki! I’ll have this very limited selection of ornaments online today 12/18 at 2pm and they’ll go out asap if purchased today.

Seattle, you’re always the best! A million thank yous to @urbancraftuprising , all the shoppers, visitors, and new & familiar faces that came through all weekend.
Landed at home early this morning after a whirlwind 84 hours in Seattle, where I think I managed to squeeze in a good amount of food for amount of free time 😂

2) I drove straight from the airport to Secret Congee from the airport bc I knew it was the only chance I’d get to eat there, and it did not disappoint
3) got greeted at the hotel by this adorable potato
4) rebooted the Boiling Point dinner tradition with my BiL
5) side by side comparison of real bananas with my felted one
6) + 8) I want another 12 of these matcha calamansi sodas, and the taiyaki ice cream was delicious as a whole but the taiyaki part was maybe the best I’ve ever had flavor wise
7) I will always order pozole when I see it on a menu.
9) this goes double for sinigang. Apparently I eat at Musang or Kilig every time I’m in Seattle now 😆
