We’ve got big news, Lowell! When Mill No 5 closed, we were heartbroken - but we never stopped believing in the power of art and the people who make it come alive. Now, the wait is over! We’re thrilled to announce that your beloved local art gallery, Curation 250, is officially making a temporary return for 6 months as a partner of Project PoUp right in the heart of downtown Lowell on Market Street! We’ve missed the conversations, the creativity, the community - and most of all, you! Featuring new exhibitions and returning favorites, we can’t wait to welcome you back with the same energy, passion, and love for local and contemporary art that made our gallery such a special space. As always, Art is for Everyone!

Check out this incredible sculptural piece, Pink Weave, by @bigbadbecky ! Rebecca is a prop maker and set dresser working locally on feature films, television and commercials. She is most known for her work on Knives Out and Little Women. When not working for others, Rebecca builds most of her work out of the refuse of modern life, inspired by wildlife. Trust me when I say, you don’t want to miss our last artist reception HERE & NEXT this Saturday night!

Fu’una attempts to process the polarity of indigenous and diasporic identity, and the interrelated influences of history, power, and heritage on the environment and the psyche. Fu’una’s work contributes to contemporary discourse on decolonial and feminist aesthetics and the role of art in sustaining cultural continuity. Be sure to stop by as this is the last weekend to see the all female exhibit, Alchemia. #womensupportingwomen

Lena’s work “work explores the felt but unseen dimensions of personal healing and transformation. Deeply inspired by the immense beauty of the natural world, I create portals into a dream-space that exists in the abstract and symbolic.“ I had the pleasure of working with her as she painted a gorgeous mural on the Greenhalge School and loved her work ever since. Come see these beauties in person this weekend!

NEW MICRO GALLERY INSTALLATION! Stephanie’s Little Ghost Story Machine was tested by a few visitors yesterday who found a little moment of joy… or should I say some micro joy? See what I did there?! Come by this weekend to create your own collage and add to our growing gallery wall!
