Self-taught across all disciplines and guided by the spirit of DIY, Eofy is a DJ, graphic designer, and installation artist who embraces imperfection and chance.
Her unqualified music research started somewhere on Wikipedia over a decade ago and now lingers in the mists of ’90s techno and trance, with no fixed destination.
Despite the deep basslines, hypnotic rhythms, and layered progressions, her sets take a less serious, more open-minded approach, drifting between playfulness and melancholy, guided by intuition and curiosity.
We can't wait to host her sound and installation sensibilities into the space.

Our first edition we welcome @ysk_alpha from Japan for some dark wizardry, @eeooffyy from Naarm collaborating on art and visual direction as well as sonic explorations. Sink into the sublime with local Patina angels @galiba_mp & @helennabppp and to kick off the night, @tangela__t & @amuwa_mwah reunite for some special low and slow soft squelches.

They've invited Dutch luminary Dekmantel signee Upsammy for an extended headline set, a master at defining her own world of organic/machine contrasts through genre spaces of IDM, DnB, techno and the liminal zones inbetween.
Excellent supports from perpetual fave Emelyne, the elusive Felt Sense Recordings boss Louis Marlo, a live set from Opal Tree Armour and the two party bosses themselves on the roof for five hours.

Classically trained in nothing, uses cable ties for everything. Eofy approaches space the same way she approaches sound: shaping atmospheres that reflect the people who inhabit them, while carrying the spirit of imperfection. Her work draws from DIY culture and the dance floor, feeding it back into her visual world and grounding each installation in the community it’s built for. With a background in installations across label nights, music festivals, and ambient sessions — including Amniote Editions, Ballista, Kinesis, Manifestation, Speed, and Steeplejack — this Saturday she reveals a more playful, colourful side of her practice for Animalia x Steeplejack.

Sharing music feels so special when it’s done after getting deep amongst the party via graphics or production or whatever shit I make up. Bit off slightly more than I could chew, yet I successfully chewed. I wouldn’t change a single moment of graphic design related stress, it was so worth it for this moment and these people.
Shoutouts to this crew and its community for continuing to withstand a world that resists DIY and devalues anything without commercial profit. We gotta keep getting around projects like this one, cos we fkn need them.
