In 2019, Dan and I took a series of fine art photos. We had no plan for the outcome, just to create imagery that would stand the test of time and convey brutal honesty. Years later the photos found a home in various parts ways, this set was used for @rollingstone@rollingstoneaus icons issue. Print is the pinnacle for any photographer so this was a nice way to see them find a place in the world of cultural legacy. Back in March we paid our respects to Silverchairs Frogstomp on its 30th anniversary. We wanted to celebrate it, were given an opportunity by Nath at Little Bosa to perform at his venue with the awesome young band Bend to open for us and we put our heart and souls into delivering the album live in its entirety, full throttle. The day took a slightly different turn and we had the honour of spending time that day with Daniel Johns. We jammed with him, hung out and he watched us play and we are truly humbled. All we can say is thank you Dan for being real, hilarious and the absolute legend that we admire so much in all that you do. Thanks for hanging out brother, totally punk rock…. legendary mysto style. And to Ebs, you’re the man. Awesome things happen.. Yeah boiz

Yesterday was special, witnessing the greatest athlete ever on the grandest stage was a treat. Conditions weren’t all time but that’s when the real skill shines! @kellyslater at #Pipeline winning his opening heat after 5weeks out of the water! #KellySlater @wsl
Nearly a decade ago - I went to the deep expanses of the Western Australian desert with Dad. He was working as an Outback Tour Guide on the #Canningstockroute.
The vehicles being used for these gruelling trips were 6x6 #Gwagen by #Mercedesbenz, a truly incredible piece of engineering ( a long way from #Germany ), I decided I needed to document this whole thing and pitched it.
The great thing about great brands is they understand the importance of story telling and in this instance Callie Barlow @calliopop a Brooklyn based producer for Mercedes at the time, believed in the story and got it green lit.
So off Dad and I went! I taught myself how to fly an early model drone with a go pro strapped to the bottom with a third party gimble and hoped for the best!
As a coastal person I sometimes struggled to see the value in going bush, but after this trip I had the lightbulb moment and finally understood it!
