The winning design of @Stab In The Dark X. @dan__mann @kellyslater Swipe for a closer look at the  DRK designed by @dan__mann for @kellyslater , built in our patented I-Bolic 2.0 Technology. Dan drew inspiration for this shape from the original design Dan made for Kelly when first asked to make him some boards in 2015, the DRK is a refined version of the FRK designed for high-performance surfing in good waves. Updated from the FRK, the DRK has a change in the rail and foil to be more balanced under chest, as well as the wide point pushed forward slightly in the outline, making the back half of the board more narrow and more sensitive than the FRK. The DRK came to be with great care to keep the features that make the FRK a great board, like bottom contours, rocker, and fin placement. It’s a high-performance, refined, simple, and clean version of a high-performance shape that is surprisingly versatile in various conditions. Revisiting last month’s trip to the @nzopengolf #NZOpen. Great food and super fun golf. Got a little bit of everything weather wise in the off season. Spent a little time up in the mountains and flying around in choppers and boats to various locations and elevations. Got to play the most bizarre golf hole ever as you’ll see in one video. 4500’ elevation on Cecil Peak, a 312 yard par 3 with 1475’ elevation change from tee to green. Anyhow, NZ Open was an A+ event. We made a bunch of new friends, ate too much great food, and ticked off another spot we’ll have to add to the calendar in the years ahead in both #Queenstown and #Arrowtown. Never enough time. Highly recommended. Oh, and almost made an ace in last video but ended up with a double bogey! 😆 @purenewzealand #NZMustDo

Hawai’i needs our help. @lahuifoundation   Last month, our friends, family, and greater community in Hawai’i experienced a massive Kona Low storm system that wreaked havoc across the Hawaiian Islands, destroying homes and flooding entire communities.
