Something about being sick for so long of this winter is igniting a desire to be publicly sentimental.
I’m deeply grateful for the music, meals, and inspiration from friends that has carried me through this year. For loving and being loved. For receiving applause after yelling at you with my band.
I’m endlessly moved to have witnessed our people in Syria break their loved ones free from dungeons. To see and feel radical hope as an oppressor falls.
Boundless love for my family in Palestine who find faith and a path when every road is in ruin. By loving force, continue to adorn this life.
My dear friends who’ve helped me build creative and political projects this year when I didn’t always know what I was doing, I love you.
Mabrook on all of our lives. Mabrook for our chances at bravery and love.
Say MashAllah
