We continue our Kettlebell Club Series with Coach Lucas Dunham @dunhamstrength on April 4th. Lucas is an Exercise Physiologist and Strength Coach, with a decade of experience inside Big Tech. Lucas established Powerlifting and Kettlebell programs at Google, reaching thousands of employees. He is now focused on health-span at a biotech company called Biograph. Lucas has a CSCS and certified in RKC I & II and USA Powerlifting.
Kettlebells for Powerlifting: Our third iteration of our KB Club Series will focus on utilizing kettlebell movements to compliment and optimize performance in the traditional barbell lifts in the sport of Powerlifting: Squat, Bench Press, and Deadlift.
Experience with the barbell is not necessary. Proficiency in kettlebell movement is preferred, but not required.

Stuck to my 2024 New Year’s resolution and kept it simple. Reduced calories, paid attention to macros, decreased fat intake. Trained for hypertrophy, stayed active, leaned into feeling hungry.

My goal was to get as lean as I’ve ever been, mission accomplished. ✅

Bloodwork also showed significant improvements: cholesterol, LDL, lp(a) and lp(b) each down by 40-60%.

Had a blast competing in the @squatsandscience Fall Brawl with the Google Barbell Club 💪Thanks to the support from @_julesn , @sambeluch , @_kripke_ , @liftingf33d I had a solid day and took home first place in my division. Third attempts shown. Meet recap below:
-cut down to 75kg class (90kg last year)
-went 9/9 with no red lights ⚪️⚪️⚪️
-pulled a big deadlift PR (535lbs) to secure the win
-420 DOTS (previous best was 397)
