Not the prettiest rep of my life maybe a touch of hitching etc etc but 3 plates have fallen 😌😌😌😌😌 Melodramatic yap below… even though I’m just a hobbyist lifter, being able to feel strong and proud of what my body can do has been life changing and it’s easy to get emotional about my lifts After my injury I wasn’t sure if I could push my squat again, and while I was happy with bench and deadlift milestones in the fall, part of me felt like it was downhill from there. I was in a lifting and tbh confidence rut until I got back on program with Brandon , who was certain I could get back to not just performing but hitting PRs (even though I was skeptical). Thanks x a million to @dr.brandonong for keeping me moving and healthy even when I’m a mess!!!! Happy with this win for today

meet diary below but TLDR had the best and craziest day, thrilled w 275 dead pr and 132 comp bench pr - didn’t squat bc tweaked hip halfway thru prep - I inputted BOTH openers wrong and messed up attempt selection - had to run and hit 126 warmup between first and second bench attempt - finished dead’s w more in the tank and hit 275 behind the scenes lol Thank you @_julesn for handling me through the chaos, feeding me gummies and braiding my hair 🫶🫶🫶 @dunhamstrength for coaching me through two meets now @sambeluch and @_kripke_ for the hype @dr.brandonong for fixing my deadlift all summer and my hip all fall It takes a village to be this chaotic… you’re all the best and I love lifting Bonus pics from a treat filled taper week 😋😋😋
