for the next few bandcamp fridays, MF is going to be clearing out our back stock with a mega sale, starting with MF-01, Dykes To Watch Out For by DUMP HIM (probably never getting re-pressed). i thought we were sold out of DTWOF on every format until i found a merch box with a handful of CDs (pressed by MF) & cassettes (pressed by Get Better Records). all remaining physical copies of this record are up on the musical fanzine bandcamp now for $5 each for the next 24 hours! each copy comes with a 44-page zine.
going to be moving through the catalog this way for the next few months. more cheap tapes incoming shortly! :)

ORTHODOXXER is post-industrial sasscore out of Tacoma, recalling the likes of the blood brothers, big black, hyperpop, and the bible all at once. I think their first single (streaming on bandcamp) now sounds like THE NEED in 2022 or something. absolutely genius.

Juneteenth is a time for a lot of black peoples on various lands to recognize our own pain, trauma, healing, and celebration of being us. For those who don’t know, there is ongoing influx of information and resources about Juneteenth and what it means available. I want to remind people that we as marginalized people do collectively have trauma from systemic and systematic violence in a lot of aspects of life that has not honoured us and when you see us in the streets like you did summer of 2020, or 1992, 1985, we’re out there because we are, like we’ve had to had to, fight for our place at the table has humans who deserve respect and nothing more. To nonblack people, if you want to be allies, don’t just donate funds and share infographs, learn our history as well as unlearning and relearning your own, unlearn the ideas this world has redeemed as okay. Everyone has a lot of work to do. We as marginalized people have to learn what to do with our own trauma and we have the responsibility to address and heal our collective and individual pain, problematic behaviours and projections like you have the responsibility to address and take care of the harm done though tangible action as well as using your platform. I would like to think that if anything, this world can start to unpack what has been done and these are the steps to going somewhere.
I hope people can learn something to we can all step forward to a better relationship with each other. Solidarity and intersectionally can intertwine. Thank you for reading.
