a big THANK YOU to everyone who donated to support @the_everywhere_project this broad street run! the race was last sunday, i had a fun time and only complained about chafing mildly. thanks to your help, i was able to raise $3067 towards their fundraising campaign. if i did the math right, this could help purchase: - 6134 ponchos, or - 38 days of ice during summer outreach, reducing the risk of heat-related illness, or - 30 days of Gatorade during summer outreach, preventing dehydration and reducing the risk of overdose, or - clean water to accompany meals for 12779 people - most likely, some combination of the above + beyond.
TEP made $11,827 total, exceeding the $10k goal. that’s huge! it’s an honor to run for them again. if you missed the donation window this time around, i hope you’ll check them out and send them some cash! even a small amount makes a big difference in purchasing supplies i love running broad street, can’t wait to do it again next year, and genuinely believe everyone i know could do these 10 beautiful downhill miles if they wanted. hit me up if you wanna hit some parks, and thanks again for supporting harm reduction in philly!

broad street run is coming up in just 2 weeks! knocked out my 10-mile-long training run yesterday, which is now also a ploy to get you to donate money to my broad street run fundraiser for @the_everywhere_project 💛 many of you have already donated & that is SO FUCKING APPRECIATED! i crunched some stats, and thanks to some info supplied by @_g_a_l_e_n at TEP, i can let you know what all these $-amounts provide to philadelphians in need! 👟 average donation so far: $54 (provides enough ponchos to keep ~108 people dry in bad weather) 👟 most common donation: $25 (provides ~1/3 a day of ice during summer outreach) 👟 runner up: $100 (provides 1 day of gatorade during summer outreach, preventing dehydration & reducing the risk of overdose & heat-related illness) 👟 lowest donation: $3.11 (provides 15 people with clean water to accompany their hot meal) 👟 highest donation: $250 (does all of the above and even more!) any amount is EXCELLENT, whatever you can give will be important, each dollar is imminently needed, ALL DONATIONS COME ORIGINAL!
