It’s so weird starting something new especially when it’s just you. With my new project @urfavoritedaughter I’ve had the freedom to distill my weird observations and influences into musical form. I’m able to write songs based off of an iPhone note that just says “jimmy neutron lima bean”. I’ve been practicing my old cello pieces and integrating elements into my instrumentation and finding that part of me has brought me so much joy. It’s hard to deal with all this change, verdigrls having to go on hiatus because Anna had a baby (who I love to death) and losing my job during a massive layoff but I’m happier than I’ve ever been. I’m so grateful for my friends that encourage and or are collaborate with me.
Also, all the songs are ready to play live so hmu since I forgot how to book shows after so long.
