the day has finally come! “crystal rabbit moon” is here!
it’s hard to put into words how much this album means to me, especially without feeling a little silly. it literally feels like my life’s work. for a while i felt a little bit lost and making this album helped me find my way home. it dragged me out of the darkest moments of my life. it reminded me who i am, what i’m capable of, and what actually matters in this life. sometimes you have to write a song about Paul Dano and Harry Nilsson at once or record a toy screaming or sample your 16 y/o self singing alongside your late-20s self to feel like yourself again. when i described this to Enne when we met up about the art stuff, they said “you’re at play!” which is probably the most succinct way to put it.
there are so many people i’d like to thank that it’s impossible to write out. i tried my best in the credits/thank yous but i’m sure i missed quite a few. you never know how much a few words of encouragement mean to someone. thank you to everyone who’s kept me going after all this time. thank you to Emily at Substitute Scene Records for supporting me like an old friend would. thank you to the gob squad for putting up with my insanity with kindness and endless support. thank you to friends new and old who’ve let me change and be myself.

the final single from crystal rabbit moon is here! so terribly proud to introduce you to happened yet with this gob squad star studded video made by our very own cinema wizard Yuki Soga!! this song is a big one imo - a song about having hope and keeping things light during the darkest of times. this song is the spark that ignited the creation of the whole album. and it might be the proudest i’ve ever been of a song i’ve mixed too :)
