In 2024 we decided to take a step back from floral patterns for a bit. It was such a large part of our lives for so long that we felt it was important to prioritize other things that had needed our attentions. We still met up every week, but by not being a “publically active band” it allowed us the space to collectively prioritize the other important things in our lives. To get healthier, to be more active members of our communities, to be better friends, better bandmates and (hopefully) better musicians. No personal journey has a destination, but we feel like we’re all in a place now where we can be a better floral patterns.
We have been working on some things that we’re excited about. See y’all around.

As a band, we try to use our platform to combat injustice in whatever ways that we can. The violent oppression of Palestinians is not new, but with recent escalations we felt that it was important to address it again.
Which is why we are once again selling merch to raise funds to support the Palestinians whose lives are under constant attack by Israel.
The shirt features a Palestine Sunbird, a common symbol of hope, resistance and defiance of the borders that restrict the citizens of Gaza. All proceeds from the sales of this shirt will go to @thepcrf . Link to our bandcamp in bio.
We should also have the shirts in hand for our next show, which is coming up on Tuesday, 11/21 with @teenagehalloween , @swissarmywifeband , and @counterfeitkubrick .

We are honored to once again have the opportunity to share the stage with the legendary @jeromesdreamforever , September 17th, at @startheaterpdx , along with @molt.pdx
We’ve said it before, but this band has done a lot for us as individuals, and as musicians and playing with them last year was one of the most special moments for us as a band. We can’t wait to do it again this fall.

Wrapping up the month with two more shows before we get back to focusing on writing our first LP!
Next Thursday (7/27) we’re headed out of Portland to play an insanely stacked bill in Eugene (Springfield), with @vs_self , @meandyouscreaming , @partyhats123 and @visionsinblindness , at @thespot_springfield .
Then on Friday (7/28) we’re back in Portland, playing @thefixingto to support @newnotshameful and @20.83microseconds on their West Coast tour, along with @ne0lithh , a perfect way to wrap up the month.
We said it recently, but thank you again to everyone who is able to make it out to shows. Y’all have been amazing and we appreciate everything that you do, not only for us, but for the entire DIY community. PDX has something special going on right now.
We’ve got some fun surprises coming up, but these will be the last chances to see us for a little bit, so come out and have fun at one or both of these shows if you are able.
