For all our ElectricSEA participants: We truly cannot thank you all enough for being part of ElectricSEA—your openness to collaboration and discovery, your generosity in sharing knowledge, and all of your seriously hard work made the ElectricSEA weekend what it was. We invited you to consider the Showcase Exhibition a large-scale collaboration, and we saw you take that to heart. Please see our full "wrap-up letter" from the organizing committee at: https://electricsea.art/2026-wrap-up/ We also posted our favorite photos + the full list of showcase projects on the ElectricSEA website: https://electricsea.art/photos/ https://electricsea.art/showcaseexhibitionprojects/ What's next? Be sure to check out Electric Sky coming this summer! We’re so grateful to have shared this experience with you and are excited to keep building this community with you!

Please join us at the ElectricSEA Showcase Exhibition, Sat Mar 28 7:30-midnight!  We invite you to enjoy the maze of arts & tech projects created at the ElectricSEA hackathon, at our celebratory reception with cocktails and ambient music. Keynote speaker Dr. Elizabeth Churchill will be kicking off the evening at 8pm, followed by best projects awards at 8:30pm. Dr. Churchill is a globally recognized leader in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and human-centered AI, and she asks the question, as generative AI blurs the line between human creativity and computation, how do we keep our “creative sovereignty”? Learn more at https://ElectricSEA.art (https://electricsea.art/). Don't miss out on this lively evening celebrating the PNW Arts and Tech community, and make sure to save your spot by signing up at  (/).

Woo hoo, NEXT WEEKEND (June 12-15), we have a lot of crazy cool projects coming up for Electric Sky this year -- interactive, generative art projections, experiments in wind power, kinetic sculptures, self-playing piano, field-sized games, LED light art, and a movement station with LED poi and hula hoops! Don't miss out! That said, for folks who haven't been before, it's set up much like a hackathon, where you can just show up with something to work on in our pop-up lab, or jump in and help on other folks' projects, or help set up the show. Sometimes people come just to enjoy the show or play in the river. It does look like the weather is going to be nice. We have workshops too but at this point they are full, you'd have to get on a waitlist. Join us for the full Creative Retreat (Thu-Sun), or just for the Art Show (Sat, 8-11pm). / Register if you plan on spending the night in the campground. Join our discord group to keep in touch with other Electric Sky folks, ask shelly at totallylegit llc dot com for an invite. Can't wait to see you next week in the Ballpark!

Wow! Our 10th annual Electric Sky is only 4 weeks away, Thu-Sun, June 12-15! Join us for the full Creative Camping Retreat (Thu-Sun), or just for the Art Show (Sat, 8-11pm). #artandtech #northwest #pacificnorthwest #skykomish #electronicarts / THEME: MOVIN' IT Each year, we pick a theme and ask participants to explore that theme through collaborative projects, building up to an outdoor art show on Saturday night (June 14th). For 2025 our theme is MOVIN' IT, exploring kinetic energy as creative inspiration. Whether gears or motors, wind or water, digital animation, dance or play — movement brings art to life as materials are transformed over space and time. WORKSHOPS (see more /workshops/) At Electric Sky, we host workshops to help you improve your practice as an artist, designer, maker, or creative technologist. These hands-on workshops for the most part will be tied to the theme (2025: Movin’ It), and some will encourage you to add a project to our pop-up art show. Please register now to save your spot, these fill up fast. Learn about Sewable Circuits, Puppet Making, Controllable LEDS, Soldering, Pysanky Egg Decor, Making a Mobile, working with Motors, and just MOVIN IT with LEDS! REGISTRATION Registration for overnight camping is $50 for adults and $20 for kids. Workshops are free but you must register to save your spot as well. No registration is required for folks coming to just the art show, which is open to the public. Learn more on our website: , or email [email protected] if you have any questions.
