Max Galactic - Disco Anthems & Party Bangers!

Last week was incredible! Six gigs in eight days, including warming up for @jowhiley on her @90santhems tour which I absolutely love doing! I also got to spend a couple of days down in Brighton filming a documentary on Happiness, alongside @officialfatboyslim , still pinching myself tbh. The project is run by @profpauldolan who’s one of the leading experts on Happiness across the world, undoubtedly one of the most best and most interesting things I have ever done! All filmed at @tomvenue in Hove which is so fab - and as part of it we got to see Norman DJ a three hour set in a 400 capacity venue. It was BRILLIANT!! I spent the day at the brilliant @shackrevolution , to shoot a walk through video of what you get when you book me solo or with @the_disco_ceilidh to fire up your party. For me the look and feel of a DJ’s set up is so important, it visually sets the tone for night and the better it looks the more fun you’re guests will have - and my tip-top lighting will really help your dancefloor fizz. But the music is of course the most important element of the night, the better the tunes sound the better the atmosphere on the dancefloor. I’ve got two amazing speaker set-ups for different size venues, and that means that I have all the kit required to get your celebration popping off! Such a beautiful day at our Ibiza Anthems party - @brandonblock & @alex.petrides.566 were a delight, the perfect headliners and totally brought the party from start to finish. @edpayneauth & @driscollstuart were just the best hosts, Thirst Trap is such a wicked venue, it was really jumping in there - we loved running our party with those guys, more please! Shruthi + Sam at Dewsall Court and honestly… we’re still not over it. A day that beautifully blended Indian + Northern Irish heritage, but in the most them way possible - fun first, family always, and the kind of energy that makes you forget time exists. The ceremony was led by Full Stop Celebrant and it was so heartfelt - with gorgeous Hindu elements woven in so naturally, plus jasmine flowers everywhere (the scent alone felt like a love spell). Then came the speeches… equal parts emotional, hilarious, and “how are we crying and laughing at the same time?” And then… the party. The dance floor went from “cute first dance” to “absolute scenes” in about five minutes. Pure celebration. The kind where you look around and think: yep, this is it. This is the bit you’ll remember forever. We genuinely didn’t want to leave. More from this one soon, because this wedding deserves its own little movie.
