Okay, so The Shack isn’t exactly a “blank canvas” venue. It’s more like a canvas that already looks pretty damn cool before you’ve even started decorating. ✨ Here’s a few of the features that make the space extra special and memorable in all the right ways: Exposed brick 🧱 The original brickwork runs through a lot of the venue and gives it that proper industrial feel. It’s simple but makes a big difference in photos and adds a ton of character to the space. Monochrome wall 🖤🤍🖤🤍 An iconic spot in the venue. It’s bold, graphic and ends up being a bit of a go to backdrop for fun couple shots and group photos. Black metal entrance 👀 The big black metal Shack set the tone straight away. It’s a bit dramatic, a bit industrial and a solid first impression when guests arrive. Skylights ☀️ Our courtyard gets the sun most of the day, so it’s perfect for drinks, mingling and giving guests somewhere to step outside without disappearing off-site. Live plant wall 🌿 A bit of greenery around the venue to balance out the industrial look, and is great for photos. Chequered wall 🏁 Another fun feature wall which couples always end up taking photos in front of at some point in the day. All together, The Shack already has heaps of personality, which means you don’t have to spend a fortune transforming the space if you don't want to.
