It's wild to me how I have spent my adulthood hoping that someone who couldn't do what I have already done, will choose me to do what I want to do. Its wild to think that the person or people who could change my have never taken a series or even a single photo moving or still as good as these / this. I took this on a random afternoon as part of one my day jobs and I am fascinated by it. Until someone proves me wrong... yhep im a goat rather 1, 100 or 1million agree what's not up for debate is I have done more with less than anyone FULL STOP. I have sacrificed and begged, I have borrowed and stole... I have missed out on relationship and stability because I have this burning in my chest that demands I reach in to yours and tell story that will rip at your heart in the most unexpected ways. Through my lens I get to be awkward and different. I get to scream in silence and put the shadows on display. I LOVE what I do and once the world catches to the vision thats been put in my heart by the maker I will change the world. What I may lack in social... I make up for in skill and conviction! Long way of sayin... excuse me a moment I TALK MY SHIII! And please tell me if im wrong...
Surround yourself with warm hearts, big smiles and genuine people. When @rsindher ask for my help in her short film, flight 182 a while ago I had no idea what ALL i was saying yes to. The vibrant community of talent artists crew and HUMANS had been the gift that keeps giving. Now with her Oscar qualified film soaring to unimaginable heights I get a whole group of new humans in my life. I'm exchange I'll make them look incredible in my moment in time, light bending, prespective box! @sundeepmorrison
Every once in a while friends ask you to photograph them for a special reason and you pull up. Movie qualified for the Oscar's, check. movie screening at a festival check, sunglasses poppin, check and she's just getting started. Only bigger and better ahead home and HAPPY B - LATED, @rsindher (aka. Ripp - tide).
These are easily 2 of the very best people I know. Not because we see everything the same or eye to eye, cause one of the funniest things about our friendship is how much we don't l, but because from the very first day we met they have been two of the most solid, unwavering, plain spoken people I have know! They have stretched me, challenged me, held me accountable, and cheerleaded me at every turn. So leading up to Sunday, shout out to them and ALL the real ones in my life. FRIENDS are hard to come by so I work even harder to keep the real ones I have. @shades_of_nonmonogamy and @wayne.lesane lifetime supply of photos (even if it takes a million years to get them to you (even if I don't sometimes)!!!)
