I’m at the Ska Brewery in Durango Colorado. This is my friend Dave Thibodeau the founder of the Brewery. My nephew Mauro (top row second one in) played here with the ska band The Originals. He’s a great kid and a terrific trumpet player. I played the Brewery just after the lockdowns. Dave said “that show was legendary!” @skabrewing @theoriginalsacoverband

The hilarious comedian, podcaster and all around good guy Ian Fidance with a lung-dart, cocktail and a Mighty Mighty BossToneS t-shirt at a celebrity 5k event during the Netflix Is Joke Fest. Love it @netflixisajoke @ianimal69

Inspired by an interview I did with my friend Christian Jacobs (aka The Bat Commander) for Behind The Scene, my friend and talented artist Bill Main created this. @theaquabats @mister.christian.jacobs @behindthescenemusic @itsbillmain

One of the reasons the @vanswarpedtourca was so successful was @kevinlyman ’s hands-on approach.

This is Glen Campbell @glencampbellofficial performing Wichita Lineman just a year or two before he passed in 2017. The song was written by Jimmy Webb @jimmywebbmusic . I loved Glen, his guitar playing, his voice and the songs he recorded. The guy in the vest playing guitar next to Glen is my friend Todd Youth @toddyouth . I met Todd many years ago. He was the guitar player for Murphy’s Law @murphyslawnyc . I adored Todd. He was an absolute gent. Endless amounts of talent and a beautiful soul. He died a year after Glen in October of 2018.

Young Casey and Killian (singing) aka The Daron Brothers covering “I Don’t Want To Be You” from the last Mighty Mighty BossToneS album When God Was Great last night somewhere in the great state of New Hampshire! Such great guys and infinitely talented. @casey.sotah

My band The Defiant and I put out this version of the perfectly penned Nick Lowe song What’s So Funny ’Bout Peace, Love & Understanding? that Elvis Costello recorded in 1978 and then added it to the American issue of his flawless full length album Armed Forces. Knowing we would be walking on sacred ground and breathing rarified air we proceeded with caution. Deep down I knew that the far more talented members of The Defiant would be able to pull this off and we’d come up with something special. I was right. The time felt right as well and this rendition comes from deepest recesses of our hearts. Please enjoy. It’s available on Spotify and there’s a video that Casey Daron produced on YouTube. The custom soldiers artwork comes from the great Bill Main. @elviscostello @nicklowesdog @casey.sotah @itsbillmain @greg_camp_music @joeybriggsmusic @peteparada

I had a busy St Patrick’s Day week. I went to Boston to perform with Lenny Lashley and The New Darkbuster at the HOB opening for The Dropkick Murphys. Al Barr joined them on stage during their encore and crushed it. It was good seeing him. Stayed with Mark “Higgs” Higgins. Hung out with some of Johnny Rioux’s crew. Swung through Norwood with my childhood friend David “Gates” Gately and saw my father along with other Norwood legends like Michael “the Bear” Cawley and one time Pittsburgh Pirate’s third baseman Richie Hebner. Flew to Houston and saw the great Johnny Rioux. Performed with my buddy Sullivan of Sullvn. They opened for John Feldman and Goldfinger. Mike Herrera of MXPX was on the bass guitar with them. Always great seeing those guys. The next day we flew to Dallas and we played with The Aquabats. Which gave me the opportunity to hang with my pal The MC Bat Commander Christian Jacobs and the other ‘Bats. Aquabats had the one and only El Here, guitar player for NOFX, on trumpet. It was good seeing him. And I can’t not mention my friend and genuine gentleman Rick Devoe. @thenewdarkbuster @lennylashley @johnnyrioux @neverfal_ @streetdogsofficial @bostonbombsquad @the_bruisers @mxpxpx @goldfingermusic @sullvnmusic @johnfeldy @mikeherreratd @rickdevoemgmt @bigdummyjam @nofx @hobboston @lewis_bar_norwood @

I was both honored and flattered to be invited by Lenny Lashley to join him and his band The New Darkbuster at their show opening for The Dropkick Murphys on St Patrick’s day in Boston. I consider Lenny to be the second best songwriter in the city of Boston. I love him so much I agreed to wear this horrible soccer jersey. His show was fantastic. They worked up a great rendition of the BossToneS deep-cut Pictures To Prove It but if I’m being honest there was only one true rock star in the building. Al Barr returned to the stage and took his rightful place in front of the Dropkicks for the bands encore. He delivered every word and note perfectly. I watched him blow the roof off the place and burn it to the ground. Ken Casey had to dump ice-water on some overheated fans in the front. I was glad to see my brother Al’s triumphant return. He’s the undisputed GOAT and nobody could deny it. I was honestly moved to tears. @neverfal_ @bruiser @the_bruisers @lennylashley @thenewdarkbuster @hobboston #punksnotdead #saintpatrickday #boston #dropkickmurphys
